The standardization of our church’s doctrinal practice has been compromised by certain individuals who have exploited the weakened system of the Church authority to further their own agenda of profiting from the Church rather than spreading the message of salvation to humanity and upholding the principles set forth by the Pastor Founder, Rev. Pastor SBJ Oshoffa.
One of the significant services in the Church that fosters unity among its members will take place on 1st June 2025 worldwide. The children of the Church will be responsible for leading the spiritual aspects of the service, including conducting the Glorious Service and participating in other activities planned for the day. This event will provide an opportunity for the Church’s kids to showcase their talents and educate others about the Church.
It is a well-known fact that there are individuals within the church who seek to undermine the system in order to suit their own comfort. One negative narrative that has emerged is the abuse of power by certain shepherds who dress their children in regalia during the Juvenile Harvest, claiming it to be a spiritual message. This behaviour has caused confusion within the Church and has led to a division of opinions.
During the recent Shepherd Retreat at the World Headquarters of the Church in Imeko, organized by the CCC Seminary School under the leadership of VSE Taiwo, several concerning issues were brought to light. One of the main topics of discussion was the misuse of Juvenile Harvest dressing by certain shepherds. When asked about the appropriateness of allowing children to preach from the pulpit during the Juvenile Harvest Service, M/S/E Olarinde, one of the few respected Elder and speaker at the retreat, emphasized that it is the Church’s mandate for children to deliver sermons during this service. He strongly condemned the practice of some individuals dressing their children in regalia to lead the service, stating that it goes against God’s mandate for the Church.
