A remarkable chapter in the pursuit of Christian unity was written as the leadership and members of Celestial Church of Christ Warri 1 Cathedral, Delta State embarked on a significant courtesy visit to former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Rev. Ayo Oritsejafor, at the headquarters of Word of Life Bible Church in Warri, Delta State.
Leading the delegation was the Shepherd of CCC Warri 1 Cathedral, AMSE Dr. John O. Babalola, accompanied by his wife, elders, and members of the parish in what has been widely described as a meeting of love, wisdom, and kingdom purpose.
The visit focused on strengthening genuine Christian love, fostering deeper unity among believers, and encouraging greater collaboration between the Organisation of African Instituted Churches (OAIC) and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). Discussions during the meeting reflected a shared commitment to promoting harmony within the body of Christ and advancing the Gospel through collective efforts.
Speaking through their actions and interactions, both leaders demonstrated that the Church is strongest when believers rise above denominational boundaries to embrace their common identity in Christ.
Members present described the meeting as inspiring and timely, noting that it provided an opportunity for meaningful fellowship and kingdom-minded dialogue that can serve as a model for churches across Nigeria and beyond.
As the body of Christ continues to face contemporary challenges, moments such as this stand as evidence that unity, love, and shared purpose remain the foundation for a stronger Church and a brighter witness of the Gospel.
Celestial Prerogative News joins many believers in praying that this growing bond between church leaders and Christian organizations will continue to inspire greater unity, peace, and collaboration within the body of Christ.
