Members of Celestial Church of Christ Providence Parish, Providence, Rhode Island, United States of America are preparing for a glorious celebration as the parish marks its 38th Annual Adult Harvest and Thanksgiving Service with the theme “Harvest of Royal Priesthood.”
The spiritually uplifting programme is scheduled to culminate on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at the church auditorium located at 372–388 Public Street, Providence, Rhode Island 02905, USA, which also serves as the headquarters of the New England District of the CCC USA Diocese. The event is expected to attract worshippers, well-wishers, and members of the Celestial fold from across the United States and beyond. The parish forms part of the CCC USA Diocese under the leadership of the Head of Diocese, AMSE Joseph Olorunnisola.
The 2026 harvest celebration carries the inspiring theme “Harvest of Royal Priesthood,” drawn from 1 Peter 2:9, which declares: “You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood…” The theme emphasizes the believer’s divine calling, spiritual identity, and responsibility to serve God faithfully while living as ambassadors of Christ in the world.
According to the programme schedule released by the parish, activities for the harvest week will commence on Friday, 14th August 2026, with a powerful Revival Service beginning at 6:00 p.m.
The celebration will continue on Saturday, 15th August 2026, with a Cookout and Music Night scheduled for 4:00 p.m., providing an atmosphere of fellowship, unity, and joyful interaction among members and guests.
The grand finale will hold on Sunday, 16th August 2026, with the Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service commencing promptly at 11:00 a.m. at the church auditorium. Organizers have also announced that bazaar sales will take place immediately after the service, giving attendees an opportunity to support the parish through various fundraising activities.
