The remarkable journey that began in 1973 guided by divine instructions bestowed upon late Rev Josiah Kayode Owodunni has now reached a momentous milestone of 50 years. Throughout the 18,258 days of the spiritual expedition of Celestial Church of Christ International Headquarters, Oluwaseyi, Ijeshatedo, situated on Ogunlana Street, Off Ijesha Road, Surulere, Lagos has exemplified the essence of Christianity on earth, faithfully adhering to the doctrinal practices established by the late Pastor Founder, Rev SBJ Oshoffa.
In commemoration of the Golden Jubilee of CCC International Headquarters, Oluwaseyi, Ijeshatedo, the church has organized a series of events to celebrate the enduring fulfillment of God’s mandate. As confirmed by Baba IJO, Superior Evangelist Toye Owodunni, the following activities have been planned:
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2023
The Host Choir and other esteemed gospel guests will lead the congregation in an uplifting atmosphere of praise. This gathering will bear witness to the presence of the Holy Spirit, as the harmonious lyrics resonate throughout the night.
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 16, 2023
The congregation will express their heartfelt gratitude to God for the abundant grace bestowed upon CCC International Headquarters in Oluwaseyi Ijeshatedo, Lagos for over 50 years of existence. In honor of this momentous occasion, a Thanksgiving Service will be held to express their profound joy and appreciation to God. The Service will commence promptly at 10 am, followed by a Reception immediately after.
The Reception has been meticulously arranged to accommodate all individuals, irrespective of their religious beliefs, while special provisions have been made for the less privileged throughout the day.
SUNDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2023
On this day, the Church will once again gather for the Sunday Service, embracing a spirit of unity and openness. It will be a day dedicated to expressing their love and devotion to God.
It is widely acknowledged that late Rev. Josiah Kayode Owodunni embodied the purpose of Celestial Church of Christ and his unwavering loyalty to the Pastor Founder, Rev. SBJ Oshoffa remains unparalleled.
