The Youth department of Celestial Church of Christ HeFsiba City, Idunnu Jesu Parish, Ibadan has announced its highly anticipated June Edition of the Youth Monthly Vigil, a special gathering designed to strengthen the spiritual lives of young believers and deepen their relationship with God.
Scheduled to hold on Friday, 19th June 2026, by 10:00 PM, the vigil will take place at the Church Auditorium, located behind Obat Residence, Alakia, Isebo Road, Ibadan, Oyo State.
With the inspiring theme, “Building a Strong Relationship with Christ” (John 15:4), the programme is expected to provide a powerful platform for worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and spiritual impartation. The theme is particularly relevant in a generation confronted by numerous distractions, moral challenges, and societal pressures. It serves as a reminder that true fulfillment, purpose, and success can only be found through a steadfast connection with Jesus Christ.
Drawing inspiration from John 15:4, where Jesus said, “Abide in me, and I in you,” participants will be encouraged to cultivate a consistent prayer life, study the Word of God diligently, and maintain unwavering faith in their Christian journey.
The Host Shepherd, Prophet Dr. Bukunyi Ojo, will lead the gathering, ministering through the Word and prayers. Known for his commitment to youth development and spiritual mentorship, Prophet Ojo is expected to deliver messages that will challenge, inspire, and empower attendees to live victorious Christian lives.
According to the organizers, the vigil will feature:
* Intensive prayer sessions
* Spirit-filled worship
* Biblical teachings and exhortations
* Opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship
* Prophetic declarations and blessings
The programme is open to youths, church members, and all believers seeking a deeper walk with God. Organizers have emphasized that the vigil is not merely another church programme but a divine opportunity for transformation, restoration, and renewed commitment to Christ.
In a time when many young people are searching for direction and purpose, gatherings such as this continue to play a vital role in nurturing godly values, strengthening faith, and raising a generation committed to serving God wholeheartedly.
As the date approaches, the Youth Fellowship of HeFsiba City has extended a warm invitation to individuals, families, and neighboring parishes to participate in what promises to be a memorable night of prayer, worship, and divine encounter.
The church expressed confidence that attendees will leave spiritually refreshed, encouraged, and better equipped to build a lasting and fruitful relationship with Jesus Christ.
As Scripture reminds believers in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” This assurance remains the foundation of the faith and the driving force behind the Youth Monthly Vigil.
