Peace is the key to unity and togetherness, creating an environment where love and cooperation thrive. Celestial Church of Christ was founded on the principles of love, providing a space for worshiping God with respect and submission to one another.
The main goal of the Pastor Founder Rev. SBJ Oshoffa, was to spread the gospel worldwide through Celestial Church of Christ, while the Church serves as a direct connection to God, emphasizing the preaching of the gospel and the salvation of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was not meant to handle disputes in court or be monitored by police officers for our worship practices.
For the past 40 months, CCC Metropolitan Parish Archdiocese Washington DC has faced internal crises, hindering its growth as the first Archdiocese Parish in the USA. But with V/S/E Odubanjo now leading the way, there is hope for a brighter future filled with unity and progress.
The Pastor has taken decisive action to address the unrest in the parish by invoking his Pastoral order, as outlined in section 108 of the Church Constitution. V/S/E Odubanjo has been appointed as the Substantive Shepherd for CCC Metropolitan Parish Washington DC, USA. This appointment aims to bring peace back to the parish.
V/S/E Odubanjo’s vision for the Church and his extensive experience are expected to foster a sense of unity and togetherness within the parish. Today, on 1st December 2024, he officially took on the responsibilities of managing the Parish, much to the joy and gratitude of the members who have been longing for a Shepherd after months of disagreements.
The Shepherd is determined to lead the parish through a transformation aligned with God’s purpose, ensuring that the Church abides by its basic ordinances and respects God’s instructions. It is evident that the parish is facing challenges, but with the elders actively seeking solutions and this new appointment, there is hope for a brighter future filled with peace and unity.
