A conflict has arisen between CCC Ifako Central Parish 1, Province H Headquarters, situated at 28 African Church Road, Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos State and VSE Daniel Dickson, the immediate shepherd of the Parish. The dispute originated from the announcement of the departure of the Shepherd who was accused of neglecting his duties due to a leave of absence request he submitted.
It has been reported that V/S/E Dickson, also known as Iukuluku had his belongings removed from the Parish premises after the intervention of a senior clergy who mediated the situation after a week ago.
Furthermore, a legal document has surfaced, revealing that V/S/E Dickson has instructed his lawyer to initiate legal proceedings against the Parish. The allegations include defamation of character, with V/S/E Dickson accusing the Parish’s media department of posting defamatory comments about him.
V/S/E Dickson also said he lend the Parish a substantial sum of #440,000 in October 2023, with the promise of repayment by December 2023. However, the Parish has failed to honor this agreement. Additionally, V/S/E Dickson has demanded payment for his December 2023 salary, which the Parish has yet to provide.
In response to these accusations, the Parish has swiftly defended itself by claiming that V/S/E Dickson is merely exposing his own weaknesses in leadership and displaying a negative attitude in the court of public opinion. The Parish asserts that V/S/E Dickson has neglected to settle the Levites working alongside him since June 2023, despite the fact that the Parish consistently provides him with a share of the income, as instructed by the Pastor Founder.
Furthermore, the Parish clarifies that none of V/S/E Dickson’s properties were taken without his consent. The Parish confirmed that a senior clergy member, who acted as a mediator in the matter, sent a representative to witness the packing of V/S/E Dickson belongings, with law enforcement agencies present.
