By His grace and mercy, USA Diocese’s shepherds Training Retreat – La Stigmata 2025 held on 1st – 4th May remains a re-sounding success. Following is the first of a number of Blue-Prints emanating from the Retreat.
Critical Sanctuary Codes of conduct calling for immediate attention of all shepherds:
1. Always sanctify the name of the Lord before praying unto Him and learn to call the name of the Lord with reverence and solemnity.
2. Cross is the Instrument of our redemption and Not Crucifix in the Alter.
3. Flower Vessels on the Alter are only two, representing the two anointed. Zach
4. Lighting of the Alter Candles begins with ‘Kindle the Light divine from Heaven above’.
5. Total Prohibition of Eating, including fruits in the Alter. It is a desecration.
6. Shaking of hands in the Alter shall remain prohibited.
7. Backing the congregation to receive Collection trays from the warden is No No.
8. Bowing down before the Tithe box is wrong.
9. Pouring and spraying the congregation with perfume is not normal, it is fire hazard, dangerous to the eyes and body and could expose you to criminal litigation. It has no spiritual positive impact. What you require is simply sanctification water. Ezek 36:25
10. 3-7 days in trance or on the mountain for prophecy is not of Celestial. It is not our doctrine.
11. Those that should be encouraged to go for medical attention should not be kept in the church under prophetic excuse. Let the doctors do their work & assist with prayer.
12. Avoid all spiritual works that can portray us as fetish or as an abuse leading to litigation.
13. No money spraying or carnal dancing in the Sanctuary of God. We are not running a club house or Synagogue of Satan.
14. No praise worship of human beings. Only God should be praised by the choir in the Sanctuary. God is a jealous God and will not share His glory with anyone.
15. Concentrate your harvest invitations among parishes and members within driving distance to minimize your harvest celebration costs.
16. Announcement during harvest Service shall avoid the doctrinal routine.
17. Hotel Accommodations during harvest celebration shall be for shepherds only.
18. There shall not be any merchandising on the Pulpit.
19. Sermon and revival during worship Service shall strictly be from the pulpit. There shall be no gesticulation or dancing around the pulpit. It is un-doctrinal.
20. Water, Salt and Honey shall be administered to a new born during christening with disposable plastic spoon and only very lightly.
21. Life Insurance for the shepherd and property Insurance for the parish are mandatory.
22. Telephone usage in the Sanctuary is an abuse of the holiness of GOD. Please step out of the Sanctuary if you must use your telephone.
23. Posting unto the Social Media shall be effectively monitored to ensure that it promotes the Gospel of Salvation and enhances the image of the Church.
24. The shepherd, by divine order, is in charge of the parish both spiritually and administratively and Not the Parochial Committee.
25. Administration of Holy Sacrament shall conform to hygienic standard.
26. Time consciousness in our various devotional worship Services. While Wednesday and Friday Services shall be kept within one and half hours (maximum), Sunday Services shall end between 1.30pm and 2:00pm.
It is mandatory for every shepherd to educate and bring these stipulations to the attention of every operating ministry and members of the parish. The diocese will also monitor compliance both physically and virtually through the diocese’s Corps of Compliance officers and where necessary Citation shall be issued for non-compliance.
