The burial of Apostle Remi Olabanji, a revered musician in Celestial Church of Christ was a truly special event. Gospel musicians from all over the Church came together to pay their respects to a man who was truly blessed with a unique voice of praise. The passing of the Church’s only Apostle was a significant loss, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Among the many talented musicians who attended the burial was AVSE Oluwakayomide Olugbenga Samuel Oladimeji, the Music Director of CCC USA Diocese. He, along with his Deputy, travelled all the way from the USA to honour the memory of this veteran musician who had such a positive impact on the music of the Celestial Church of Christ.

As a member of CCC Great Oshoffa Parish in Chicago, USA, the Music Director extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the departed Apostle. He also took the time to explain the important role that the USA Diocese plays in providing medical care and financial assistance to musicians in the Church. He emphasized the need for the Church to support its artists and ensure they have everything they need to fulfil their duties comfortably.
It was truly a moving and inspiring event, bringing together musicians from far and wide to celebrate the life and legacy of Late Apostle Remi Olabanji. The USA Diocese is proud to have been a part of such a meaningful tribute to Apostle Remi, and will continue to support and uplift the talented musicians of Celestial Church of Christ.
