It a fact that VSE Michael Tovide was a deeply respected and spiritually grounded shepherd in Celestial Church of Christ. He served faithfully, contribute immensely to the growth and stability of the Church. As the founding shepherd of CCC Imole Ayo Cathedral, situated at 1 Goriola Oseni Avenue, Iba Town, Ojo, Lagos State, his vision, prophetic insight, and commitment to divine order shaped the parish into a beacon of light and holiness.
Before his passing in 2023, VSE Tovide known for his unwavering obedience to divine instructions, left behind a clear and strict directive concerning the succession and continuity of spiritual leadership in his parish. Through a voice note obtained and secured by Celestial Prerogative News, VSE Tovide explicitly stated that his son, Segun Tovide should be installed as the substantive shepherd of CCC Imole Ayo Cathedral at the appropriate time.

In his recorded message, VSE Tovide affirmed that Moses Tovide is spiritually qualified and already a Senior Shepherd, though he was then serving in the role of Assistant Shepherd due to instructions from the Pastor. The late Shepherd emphasized that upon the time of fulfillment, there should be no delay in installing Moses Tovide as the rightful shepherd of the parish, in line with the divine mandate and for the preservation of the parish’s sacred mission.
Finding shows that the directive was not just a personal wish, but a spiritual command grounded in divine discernment and foresight. VSE Tovide sought to ensure continuity, stability, and adherence to God’s will within the parish, which he had nurtured from its inception.
However, despite the clarity of this instruction and the evidence presented, some individuals have reportedly moved against this divine order, attempting to undermine the intentions of late VSE Michael Tovide. Such actions, if allowed to persist, we threatening the unity and collective progress of CCC Imole Ayo Cathedral, and risk violating the sacred legacy left behind by one of the Church’s faithful visionaries.
As believers, it is essential to honour prophetic directives, especially those delivered under the influence of the Holy Spirit and backed by truth and order. The path to spiritual sustainability lies in obedience, not ambition.

He got promoted to Superintendent at Badagry Division and placed his PA Kossou at Imole Ayo Iba 1 as Shepherd he openly said this and said if he finishes his 2 years if the church still want him ,they can write to ketu to give him another 2 years . Before he ended 1 year after Tovide’s demise ,elders with Moses have gone to ketu to remove him . Moses was brought back by his father to learn from kossou that has been working with Late Tovide . Moses I can say authoritatively was never a clergy abinitio . He has worked with me before in different capacities and worked in marketing unit of an industrial cleaning firm . It was Late Tovide that pushed him into clergy work and did what we call man knows man posting for Moses not Ketu . I challenged ketu to come out with a letter of posting issues to Moses before this recent one he was issued to come to Iba 1 Province. So we need to get some facts right in our reporting journalism .
Moses has been called severally to go out there learn this clergy work and return home gloriously. He turned deaf ears like Pharaoh with his destructive ambition . This has led to counter reaction from members of the church who don’t want him there . These has led to him exposing shenanigans happening in that church to social media .
In all of these ,I blame the authority do we upheld unverified instructions at the detriment of celestialism and our constitution? While Kossou was a shepherd how come Moses was also.left there to constitute neausance to Kossu paying him salary of 30k monthly . While Kossou was there and the members still want him why not use this opportunity to correct the anomalies by giving him 2 years and post Moses out to learn and perfect some of his shortcomings before coming back . If we allow such menace what becomes of our administrative system as a church ?
I will strongly suggest both of them be transferred out and bring a neutral shepherd to that church . Imole Ayo 1 is not a family church rather a community church that has attained Provincial status for decades ..
