The 50th birthday celebration of Most Superior Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa held on Sunday, 22nd June 2025 at Celestial Church of Christ, Ojodu Central Parish, Lagos, was far more than a moment of jubilation—it became a divine encounter, a reflection of grace, and a channel of unexpected breakthrough for one faithful parishioner.
In a thanksgiving service marked by deep worship and heartfelt testimonies, the celebrant, who also served as the sermoner of the day, moved the congregation with an emotional message as he looked back on his life journey. Recalling the painful chapters of his youth, Solomon Oshoffa shared how he became an orphan 25 years ago after losing his mother, having earlier lost his father at the tender age of 10.
But it was his testimony of divine healing that left many in awe.
“Last year was a season I will never forget,” he said with conviction, describing the ordeal of a spiritual attack that left his health deteriorating and his whereabouts unknown to his loved ones.
“I left the house without informing my wife, and even a friend—who is a senior prophet ran away when he saw the intensity of my condition. Everyone thought I would die. But God stepped in!”
The atmosphere grew electrified as he declared the restoration of his health through divine grace, affirming that the experience had deepened his faith and solidified his purpose in the fold of Christ.
Yet, the most remarkable moment came during the offertory segment when Evangelist Solomon Oshoffa fulfilled a divine instruction laid on his heart. Upon arriving at the Parish, he testified that the Spirit of God had revealed that someone in the church was in urgent need of financial help.

In obedience, he approached the Parish Shepherd, requesting they identify a sincere member going through serious challenges. Without hesitation, the Shepherd pointed to C/E/S Hunton, a humble, dedicated female member known for her consistent service, particularly in cleaning and maintaining the church premises.
Moved by her story and character, the celebrant announced a donation drive, leading to a total of ₦2 million raised on the spot, a portion of which he personally contributed. The funds were presented to the unsuspecting woman, whose face was overwhelmed with emotion as she received what she described as “a miracle she never imagined.”
The event concluded in dancing, joy, and renewed hope—not just for the celebrant, but for the entire congregation who witnessed the power of gratitude, testimony, and generous love in action.
