The atmosphere of praise, worship, and spiritual harmony is once again set to resonate across the USA Diocese as Region C of our Church prepares for its much-anticipated Cantata 2026.
Under the leadership of VSE Awosika(Head of Region C), the General Congregation of Region C has continued to demonstrate steadfast commitment to the work of God through music ministry, and this year’s Cantata promises to be a remarkable expression of that devotion.
The event is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 16th May 2026, at 12832 Chadron Avenue, Hawthorne, California 90250, with proceedings commencing at 2:00 PM.
With the powerful and spiritually enriching theme, “Ornament of Grace,” the Cantata is designed to reflect the beauty and glory that God’s grace bestows upon His people. It is expected to gather choristers, worshippers, and faithful members from across the region and beyond, all united in one purpose—to glorify God through sacred music.
According to the organizing committee, the Cantata will not only showcase melodious renditions and disciplined choral presentations but will also serve as a moment of deep reflection and gratitude for God’s endless mercy and compassion.
Snr. Ldr. Michael Balogun (Regional Choir Master, Region C) stated that “Cantata is not just a musical gathering; it is a sacred expression of our devotion to God. As we lift our voices in harmony under the theme ‘Ornament of Grace,’ we are reminded that it is only by His grace that we are adorned, sustained, and preserved. This Cantata 2026 is a call to every believer to come and experience the transforming power of divine grace through worship. We are prepared, and we trust that God will manifest His presence mightily among us.”
