CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parish 4, Akure is gearing up for the future in a big way! The parish is a gathering of dedicated group of God’s people who always look ahead, ready to create a supportive environment for our children to tackle any challenges that may come their way. Despite the economic struggles in Nigeria, the parish believe in opening up opportunities for future investors and creating a thriving economy ideals that will fulfills the dreams of our citizens.
To further their children vision of turning dreams into reality, the parish hosted their Annual Teenage Retreat. This retreat was a fantastic opportunity for young parishioners to come together, learn, discuss, research, and prepare themselves to become future leaders not just in Nigeria, but in the world.
One of the highlights of the retreat was the entrepreneur session, where children had the opportunity to learn about candle production, textile making, cake baking, and snack preparation. The children actively participated in making these items and had the freedom to ask questions about the production process.
The day was filled with engaging activities that the children thoroughly enjoyed, thanks to the unwavering support of their Parish teachers. The Shepherd VSE Oluwaseyitan Oluwalola encouraged the children to always represent the Parish well, as the Parish Patron & Patroness, Elder Pius & M/C Mercy Olarewaju have a positive vision for everyone in the Parish. They strive to create opportunities for members to achieve economic independence.
