NOTIFICATION & GRATITUDE
Consequent upon the need and the clamor for a review of both the administrative and spiritual leadership structures of our church by stakeholders, after due consultations and considerations, our pastor and spiritual head — Rev. Oshoffa E.M.F. recently approved certain top-level administrative reorganization aimed at reengineering the mechanisms of our church towards timely mission attainment. The development informed the recent shift from State administration to Regional administrative structure hoping that this will engender the desired administrative and spiritual excellence.
Therefore, in order to expedite seamless operations of the new system in Lagos State, and for policy clarity’s sake, the Executive Council of C.C.C. Lagos State, Nigeria closed all State’s Secretariat’s working apparatuses, and closed down permanently effective Saturday, 20th April, 2024.
This implies that the office of Lagos State Evangelist including the State Secretariat is no longer operational.
Please permit me to on this occasion once more express my profound gratitude to our amiable Pastor for my appointment as Lagos State Evangelist since 18th August, 2020, and for his constant leadership support while my tenure lasted. I am also very grateful to members of the State Executive Council, the Divisional Administrative Evangelists either dead or alive, indeed, to all administrative apparatuses of CCC Lagos State Nigeria during my tenure, particularly, the Clergy, including the Laity in Lagos State, Nigeria and globally too for making my tenure such a huge success, honestly. I doff my hat to everyone. Believe me, we would have attained more heights together but for certain circumstances that prevailed, however, the challenges notwithstanding, we made our best efforts and with your supports we achieved some very lofty heights.
As I publicly take a bow from office today, and congratulate the recently appointed regional heads in Lagos State and beyond, it is my sincere wish that they do have a successful tenure. I therefore humbly request of you to accord them much more cooperation than was accorded me. Finally, please accept my best regards and remember that the great rewarder shall definitely reward everyone accordingly, so, try to do your very best for Celestial Church of Christ. As I drop my pen now, my thoughts go to the family of A/Most/Sup/Ev. Gbekeloluwa Akingbulugbe and Ven/Sup/Ev. Michael Moutin Tovide, may their respective gentle souls rest perfect in the bosom of Abraham in the name of Jesus Christ.
