Celestial Church of Christ has again been plunged into deep mourning with the passing of a pillar of faith and senior clergy, Most Superior Evangelist Amadasu.
According to an official confirmation by the United Shepherds Council, Edo State, M/S/E Amadasu, who until his transition served faithfully as Pastoral Adviser to Rev Pastor E.M.F. Oshoffa, answered the divine call and returned to his Creator on 18th December 2025.
The announcement, received with heavy hearts and deep emotions, has sent shockwaves across Celestial Church of Christ globally, particularly among shepherds, evangelists, and faithful who were touched by his humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to the doctrine and unity of the Church.
M/S/E Amadasu was widely respected as a seasoned priest of God, a counselor of depth, and a stabilizing voice in moments of ecclesiastical challenge. His counsel, rooted in Scripture, prayer, and loyalty to the founding vision of the Church, earned him the trust of leadership and the admiration of many across generations.
Confirming the sad news, the United Shepherds Council, Edo State described his passage as “a painful loss to the priesthood and the entire Celestial family,” noting that the Church has lost not just a leader, but a father, mentor, and watchman on the walls of Zion.
