Celestial Church of Christ Oke Ado Cathedral in Ibadan has unveiled a magnificent structure dedicated to the glory of God. Inspired through the architectural brilliance of King Solomon in the bible, the edifice aims to spread the message of salvation throughout the world.
For a continuous period of seven months, the devoted parishioners and followers of Christ pooled their resources to construct a beautifully adorned place of worship. On the 28th of October 20323, the culmination of their efforts was celebrated with a rededication service.
The momentous occasion holds great historical significance for all those in attendance, as the presence of Holy Spirit was palpable throughout. Distinguished shepherds from around the world graced the event, adding to the solemnity of the atmosphere. The tireless efforts of Most Superior Evangelist DJ Nunayon were evident in the remarkable milestones achieved by the parish over the course of 217 days.
During the rededication ceremony, MSE Nunayon led a prayer, seeking divine influence on the edifice and offering gratitude to all those who contributed to its reconstruction. The service served as a powerful reminder of the church’s primary objective: to be the last refuge of salvation.
The service conductor, Most Superior Evangelist Kayode Nunayon, son to MSE Nunayon successfully led the service with utmost devotion and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. With unwavering patience, he awaited the continuous presence of God, as he has done countless times before in the Parish.
The sermon, delivered by VSE Kiki focused on the “Uniqueness of God’s Purpose at CCC Oke Ado.” VSE Kiki eloquently explained that a0the journey of Celestial Church of Christe0 Oke Ado began in heaven, guided by divineas instructions with the aim of transforming the world into a beautiful place of worship.
MSE Nunayon, in particular, expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the unwavering commitment of the Parish members. He also acknowledged the love and support extended to him by Celestial members and the general public, especially the residents of the Oke Ado community, who have created a friendly and welcoming environment.
