In the blessed journey of life, God raises men for special assignments, men whose footsteps illuminate paths, whose hearts carry compassion, and whose service reflects the grace of the Creator. Today, we celebrate one of such rare gifts to the Body of Christ: Venerable Superior Evangelist Olorunnisola Head of Celestial Church of Christ USA Diocese, a man chosen, preserved, and deeply loved by God.
This birthday is not just a marking of years; it is a celebration of divine purpose, impactful leadership, and a lifetime anchored on godliness. It is the story of a man whose name is written in the testimonies of thousands, whose labour has helped shape destinies, and whose unwavering dedication continues to expand the glorious heritage of Celestial Church of Christ.
Before he became a shepherd of shepherds, V/S/E Olorunnisola walked through the prestigious halls of the banking world. In the late 1960s and throughout the 1970s, he served with integrity and excellence as a banker at the United Bank of Africa. There, he built a reputation of honesty and diligence a foundation that would later define his spiritual journey.
Even while working in the corporate world, his heart was already committed to service. He was a young worshipper at CCC Makoko National Headquarters, before been part of the establishment of CCC Agege Parish 1, Lagos State, where he became well-known for assisting unemployed members to secure job opportunities. His professional influence became a channel of blessings to countless families a practical demonstration of his faith in action.
A strong pillar of early Celestial expansion in Lagos, VSE Olorunnisola was divinely positioned to help build what today has become landmarks of faith. In the 1980s, God used him again as one of the notable founding members of CCC Ikeja Parish 2 laying spiritual, administrative, and structural foundations that still stand today.
His love for the Church has always been bigger than a title. He is a builder, a giver, a worshipper, and a soldier of Christ who has contributed to strengthening the heritage of CCC both in Nigeria and far beyond the shores of Africa. Across parishes in America, he is celebrated as a man whose decisions are Spirit-led, whose counsel is wise, and whose presence inspires confidence and peace.
His righteousness is not loud, yet it is deeply rooted. His love for worship is pure and passionate. His service is sacrificial and unending. When he speaks, he speaks from a place of spiritual depth. When he prays, heaven responds. When he leads, love and unity follow. He remains a shining example of what a Celestial leader should be a guardian of doctrine, a model of discipline, and a vessel of grace.
Venerable Superior Evangelist Olorunnisola, we honour you today for who you are and all you represent in the Celestial Church of Christ. Thank you for letting God use you. Thank you for leading with sincerity. Thank you for being a father, a mentor, a pillar, and a blessing beyond measure.
