Boxing Day holds significant historical importance, deeply rooted in the tradition of extending a helping hand to those in need. This day serves as a reminder that sharing is an act of compassion and care, symbolizing the spirit of charity and generosity during the Christmas season.
Today, as we commemorate this important day of giving to the less fortunate, we would like to bring to the attention of Celestial members of a shepherd who was divinely choose to spread the message of salvation to the Arab Republic of Egypt. The transcontinental country spans the northeast corner of Africa and the Sinai Peninsula in the southwest corner of Asia.
Unfortunately, he fell ill on duty has a Shepherd in the fold and was unable to overcome the battle against the disease he was diagnosed of by the doctor. Following his passing, the outstanding debt from his treatment remains compounded by the refusal of the Egyptian hospital to release his body for a proper burial.
Currently, we have managed to raise a sum of #240,000 through online donations towards the total amount of #840,000 required to settle the hospital bills and make arrangements for the burial of Evang Segun Ilori. It is worth noting that one of our generous donors has requested to remain anonymous.
We are deeply saddened by the loss of Evang Segun Ilori and the challenges that have arisen in the aftermath. Our primary focus now is to honor his memory by ensuring his final arrangements are carried out with dignity and respect. However, we are still in need of #600,000 to fulfill our financial obligations.
