Celestial Church of Christ Warri 1 Cathedral, Archdiocesan Headquarters, is set to host its highly anticipated Prophet & Prophetess Week 2026, with a strong spiritual focus on divine transformation, prophetic ministry and renewed commitment to the work of God.
The week-long programme, organised by the Prophet and Prophetess Council of Warri 1 Cathedral, is scheduled to hold from Sunday, 23rd August to Sunday, 30th August 2026, at the Church Auditorium.
The theme of the 2026 celebration is “DIVINE TRANSFORMATION – I WILL BE WITH THEE”, drawn from Joshua 1:5. The theme points to God’s promise of His abiding presence, guidance and strength as His people move into new seasons and greater assignments.
The programme is expected to bring together prophets, prophetesses, ministers, church leaders, worshippers and guests for a week of prayers, teaching, prophetic ministration, spiritual renewal and thanksgiving.
WEEK-LONG PROGRAMME OF SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES
According to the programme schedule, the celebration will commence on Sunday, 23rd August, with the Flag-Off Service at 10:00 a.m.
Activities will continue on Monday, 24th August through Thursday, 27th August, with an Isona programme scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
On Thursday, 27th August, participants will also gather for a Seminar from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., providing an avenue for deeper spiritual engagement and reflection.
The programme will continue on Friday, 28th August, with a Jimartha Night scheduled to commence at 10:00 p.m. and continue till dawn.
The week will reach its grand finale on Sunday, 30th August, with a Thanksgiving Service at 10:00 a.m., offering participants an opportunity to return all glory to God for the success of the programme and His faithfulness throughout the week.
The 2026 edition has also attracted an array of distinguished ministers and guest artistes who are expected to contribute to the spiritual atmosphere of the celebration.
Among the listed guest ministers are AMSE Gabriel Obiyan, VSE Jerry Asiava, VSE Gbenga Olarewaju, Sup. Ev. R. A. Haastrup, Prophet Emmanuel Enebel, Prof. Dr. Olusegun David Orolu, and other ministers.
The programme will also feature guest artistes including Tega Daniel, Meshack (Omo Ologo), Lizzy, and Apst. Elyon, adding music and worship to the spiritual activities lined up for the week.
