After one year, the Central Choir of our Church has organized a momentous memorial event to honor the first-ever Music Director of our Church, AVSE Wole Adetiran. This remarkable man dedicated his life to the evolution of the Church music, and his unwavering commitment was highly recognized during his time with us. Under the exceptional guidance of Sup/Evang Rotimi Olaseibikan the current Director Music, the Central Choir has planned a series of activities to commemorate the one-year remembrance service of this legendary figure, who laid the foundation for our Church’s musical structure.
In an exclusive interview with Sup Evang Rotimi Olaseibikan, he expressed his pride in the Central Choir’s efforts to uphold Baba Adetiran’s legacy. The Central Choir have dedicated two whole days to honor the incredible Baba Adetiran, the father of our church’s central choir. In a recent interview, Sup Evang Rotimi Olaseibikan elaborated on the upcoming event, revealing that it will take place from August 26th to August 27th, 2023.
The Choir’s leadership is determined to maintain the highest standards of musicology theory, ensuring the continuous improvement of our Church’s musical offerings. Moreover, they are committed to incorporating the Church’s doctrinal practices into their performances, as the Central Choir symbolizes the very essence of our Church’s music.
Chairman of the Remembrance Committee, Sup Evang Lawrence Oke, expresses his heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering support received from the entire congregation. He said the support is crucial in their mission to strengthen the philosophy of AVSE Wole Adetiran. He further said that, under the leadership of Sup Evang Rotimi Olaseibikan, the music of our church will continue to flourish and enrich our lives in every possible way.
Secretary of the Remembrance Committee Leader, Ogunbayo, enthusiastically announced that invitations to the remembrance service have been extended to all relevant departments within the Church. Additionally, every celestial member is cordially invited to join us in honoring the memory of Baba Adetiran. This is a momentous occasion that calls for our collective celebration and gratitude.
