The news of A/V/S/E Sowunmi’s transition is a painful one not only to CCC Makoko but to the entire fold of the Celestial Church worldwide. A man known for his humility, discipline, spiritual depth, and unwavering dedication to the mission of Christ, AVSE Sowunmi served with distinction and left a legacy marked by service, loyalty, and godly character.
As one of the respected elders at the National Headquarters Parish, his role went far beyond title or position, he was a father to many, a counselor to the youth, and a trusted pillar in the administration of the church. His voice echoed wisdom, and his prayers carried power.
