Celestial Church of Christ New Jerusalem Parish, Maryland, United States of America, is set to celebrate its 19th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service with a spiritually enriching week-long programme themed “HARVEST OF GRACE OVERFLOW.”
The celebration, which marks another significant milestone in the life and ministry of the parish, is scheduled to take place from Tuesday, 25th August to Sunday, 30th August 2026, at the parish premises located at 216 W Hampton Avenue, Capitol Heights, Maryland 20743, USA.
Established in 2007, the parish is using this year’s harvest celebration to reflect on God’s faithfulness, abundant grace and sustaining power over the years. The theme, “Harvest of Grace Overflow,” is expected to draw worshippers into a deeper appreciation of God’s blessings while encouraging thanksgiving, spiritual renewal and greater commitment to Christian service.
Programme of Activities
The week-long celebration opens on Tuesday, 25th August 2026, with Youth Day, scheduled for 2:00 p.m. The youth are expected to take centre stage as the church provides an avenue for younger members to participate actively in the harvest celebration.
On Wednesday, 26th August, the parish will host its Women Fellowship Day at 7:00 p.m., providing an opportunity for women to gather in fellowship, worship and thanksgiving.
The spiritual intensity of the programme is expected to rise on Thursday, 27th August, with Prophet & Prophetess Night, scheduled for 10:00 p.m. The night is designed as a special prophetic gathering for prayers, spiritual ministrations and divine declarations.
Friday, 28th August, has been designated Artist Night, beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continuing until dawn. With gospel music and praise forming a major part of the evening, worshippers are expected to experience an atmosphere of celebration and thanksgiving.
The grand finale will take place on Sunday, 30th August 2026, with the Harvest/Thanksgiving Day commencing at 10:00 a.m.
