There was a major administrative development in the Canada Diocese of the Celestial Church of Christ as the Pastor, Rev. EMF Oshoffa officially approved the elevation of CCC Fountain of Light Parish Canada into a Special District.
According to reports shared through the parish’s official social media platforms, an authorization letter containing the pastoral proclamation and approval was publicly read before the congregation during service proceedings held on 10th May 2026. The announcement marked another significant step in the administrative and structural expansion of the Church in the diaspora.
With the new status, CCC Fountain of Light Parish Canada now operates as a Special District directly under the supervision and authority of the Office of the Pastor. This development means the parish will no longer report administratively through the Canada Diocese structure, but instead maintain direct accountability to the Pastor’s Office.
The proclamation has been described by members as a reflection of the spiritual growth, stability, commitment, and expanding influence of the parish within the mission of the Church in Canada.
The Shepherd of the parish, VSE Olajide Salako, also confirmed the authenticity of the development, affirming that the approval and directive came officially from the Pastor, Rev. EMF Oshoffa.

Members of the parish received the announcement with thanksgiving and celebration, describing the elevation as a new phase of divine responsibility, leadership, and greater commitment to the work of evangelism and church development in Canada and beyond. The declaration of the parish as a Special District is expected to further strengthen its administrative capacity and spiritual responsibilities within the global structure of Celestial Church of Christ.
