REV. EMF OSHOFFA DECLARES VSE OLORUNNISOLA AND VSE BALOGUN AS HEADS OF USA DIOCESE.
In response to the ongoing unrest within the USA Diocese, the Pastor of the Church has taken a proactive decision to address the leadership crisis that has plagued the Diocese since March 2021. Currently fulfilling pastoral duties in the USA, the Pastor has embarked on a mission to find a permanent solution to the escalating conflict between VSE Olorunnisola followers and VSE Balogun followers.
Publicly announcing the division of the USA Diocese into two factions on the 12th of August 2023, the Pastor has bestowed the titles of Head of Diocese upon both VSE Olorunnisola and VSE Balogun, along with their respective followers. This decisive action aims to restore harmony within the USA Diocese and bring an end to the prevailing tensions.
As the Head of the Church, the Pastor has officially presented letters of appointment to both VSE Olorunnisola and VSE Balogun, affirming their roles as Heads of the Diocese. This measure is intended to provide control and allow each parish within the United States of America to align with the leader they deem fit.
By taking these steps, the Pastor demonstrates a commitment to resolving the internal conflicts within the USA Diocese and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Church. This decision marks a significant milestone in the efforts to restore unity and foster a sense of cohesion among the faithful.
In the final two paragraphs of the newly issued appointment letter, the Pastor emphasized that both factions will be evaluated on 48 months scale.
