Let’s take a trip back to March 1947, when a dedicated man set out on a mission to provide for his family. A skilled carpenter with a keen eye for quality materials, he ventured into the forest in search of ebony wood for his craft. Little did he know, a divine plan was in motion. The Holy Spirit descended upon him, transforming him into a vessel of God’s will. He became a modern-day Elijah, spreading healing, miracles, and the message of salvation to all.
Through him, Celestial Church of Christ was born, a beacon of God’s love and power in the world. In his 27,874 days on this earth, he dedicated 13,984 days to sharing the word of God, establishing the Church, and uplifting humanity with positive values. Since his departure in 1985, the Church has been embroiled in leadership and administrative turmoil. In recent years, the values of love, respect, transparency, honesty, accountability, and openness have been twisted beyond belief, leading to abuse of doctrinal practices, corruption, and administrative failures.
Despite these challenges, God’s grace has continued to sustain the Church through it all. Parishes have multiplied across the globe, carrying the message of salvation as the last beacon of hope. In the face of disappointment and setbacks, the Church remains steadfast in its mission. To honour the Pastor Founder who dedicated his life to spreading the message of God’s kingdom, the National Headquarters of the Church in Nigeria will hold a special Amissa Service on 10th May 2025.
Join us in this momentous occasion as we come together to pray for the soul of our beloved Pastor Founder and celebrate the beauty of God kingdom. Let us stand united in faith and gratitude for the blessings that continue to flow through the Church on the 10th May 2025at Celestial Church of Christ National Headquarters in Makoko, Lagos State, starting at 11 am.
