ADJOVI MISCARRY OVER GANGBE!

The main foundation of Celestial Church of Christ is love. The Church was closely monitored to spread the love of Christ to humanity and to promote love among its members. We saw the manifestation of love from the first generation of clergies within the Church. However, the situation has changed due to opportunistic individuals who took advantage of the weakened system to establish themselves in positions of authority. 

One major opportunist who consistently prioritizes personal interests over the collective interests of the Church is the State Evangelist of Osun State, V/S/E Akinbode Adjovi. He lacks an understanding of leadership and exploits the lack of proper arrangements in the Church to benefit himself. The State Evangelist has instilled fear of being transferred among the Shepherds in the state in order to manipulate the parishes under his jurisdiction.

He always advocates for his own power and authority, disregarding anyone who challenges his instructions. The State Evangelist has lost the integrity and respect bestowed on him due the way and manner he handles situations which previous State Evangelists in Osun State such as Late Adekanmbi, Baba Adegoke, Baba Akindoyin, and Baba Aladeseye maintained during their time. To further established divide and rule among the Shepherds and Church workers in the state, he ordered them not to attend the harvest of CCC Wonderland Model Parish, Osogbo, which is under the leadership of Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Ganbe.

This parish is hosting its 10th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving event tagged “Rehoboth” on July 16, 2023. The State Evangelist became uncomfortable with Oluso Ganbe ever since the sitting Governor donated 5 million naira to the Church. The State Evangelist intended to collect the money, but the parish shepherd chose to deliver it to the Pastor himself since their parish operates as a SPECIAL DISTRICT.

In an attempt to compensate his lack of administrative skills, the State Evangelist publicly announced in his parish of sit that no Shepherds should attend CCC Wonderland Model Parish, Osogbo. The “DEPUTY” Pastor is also a questionable figure in our Church, as the Church authority does not have any standard requirements for appointing individuals to oversee positions in the Church. The statement made by Adjovi has been widely condemned, as Shepherds have expressed their freedom of association by attending all the week programs organized for the commencement of CCC Wonderland Model Parish, Osogbo. Additionally, the hundreds of the Shepherds have pledged their allegiance to attend the Harvest on Sunday, July 16, 2023.
