“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from Him.” – Psalm 127:3
In the Celestial Church of Christ, there are days when heaven itself seems to smile down in full. One such day unfolded at CCC The Rehoboth Family International, Oke Ado, Lagos State, where a moment of divine joy and double grace was witnessed a day that crowned the spiritual legacy of Most Superior Evangelist Nunayon with visible fruit and heartfelt celebration.
M/S/E Nunayon, the third highest-ranking clergy in the fold, is a name known and respected across many parishes. His shepherdship journey has been marked by unwavering faith, deep teaching, and an uncommon grace to raise both spiritual and biological children in the path of God’s purpose. As one who has nurtured many into shepherds and prophets, the events were nothing short of a divine stamp of approval. On this special day, not one, but two sons connected to his legacy were celebrated and both in the same joyful atmosphere.
The first celebration came as a surprise birthday for Senior Evangelist Yemi Adesiyan, the Shepherd of CCC Michigan Parish, USA. Unknown to him, a loving circle of brethren gathered to honor his life and ministry. What made this moment even more touching was the location, it happened right at Rehoboth Family Parish, where his spiritual journey began as a protégé under M/S/E Nunayon. To celebrate this birthday where it all started, in the presence of his spiritual father, was a homecoming full of warmth and wonder.
That same day, Prophet Nunayon, one of M/S/E Nunayon’s biological sons, also marked his birthday. He currently serves as the Shepherd of CCC Hephzibah Cathedral, Indianapolis, USA, and is himself a testament to the anointing flowing through the Nunayon lineage. His acknowledgment added another layer of celebration and reflection, as congregants marveled at the generational impact of M/S/E Nunayon’s ministry spanning from the pulpit to the family altar.
The gathering was more than a birthday party. It was a living picture of legacy, mentorship, and divine favor. M/S/E Nunayon stood surrounded by sons, one spiritual, one biological—both serving as shepherds, both honoring their father by walking in his footsteps. Truly, “a good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children” (Proverbs 13:22) and that inheritance, in this case, is spiritual fire, leadership, and divine purpose.
One celebrant remarked, “It’s not every day you see a man whose spiritual and biological sons are both shepherds in the same great fold, it is the evidence of a calling that bears fruit.” Another guest shared how S/E Adesiyan’s growth from Oke Ado to Michigan, to Rehoboth Parish London inspired their own spiritual consistency.
With praise songs filling the air and hearts filled with joy, the event came to a close, but its impact will continue for years to come. We thank God for the life and ministry of Most Superior Evangelist Nunayon. May his days be long, his anointing preserved, and his children—both spiritual and biological—continue to flourish under God’s mighty hand. Amen.
