It is another moment of gratitude to God Almighty as family, friends, ministers, and members of the Celestial Church of Christ across nations celebrate the birthday anniversary of the Shepherd of Celestial Church of Christ New Jerusalem Parish London and Celestial Church of Christ King of Kings Parish, the humble and devoted man of God, Venerable Superior Evangelist Yomi Oni.
A native of Ile-Ife, VSE Yomi Oni’s life has remained a testimony of grace, dedication, humility, and commitment to the vineyard of God. Born into the Celestial fold, he grew up with deep spiritual understanding, discipline, and reverence for the works of God, which later shaped his prophetic and evangelical calling in the Church.
His educational journey took him to Awori Anglican Comprehensive High School, now known as Anglican Comprehensive High School Ipaja, where he was known for his calm nature, discipline, and passion for spiritual activities even from his youthful days.
As a Prophet and Evangelist, VSE Yomi Oni has continued to distinguish himself through his commitment to evangelism, counseling, mentoring of youths, and steadfast service in the household of faith. Over the years, God has used him to impact countless lives spiritually, morally, and emotionally, both in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom.
Under his leadership, the ministries of Celestial Church of Christ New Jerusalem Parish London and Celestial Church of Christ King of Kings Parish have continued to witness spiritual growth, revival, unity, and development, while many members have remained grateful for his fatherly role, prayers, encouragement, and unwavering dedication to the work of God.
Beyond the altar, VSE Yomi Oni is admired for his humility, simplicity, peaceful disposition, and love for humanity. Many who have encountered him often testify to his calm approach to leadership and his commitment toward the unity and progress of the Church.
