The boldness and bravery displayed by one of the sons of the Pastor Founder has been highlighted as a turning point to positive correction. In a swift and decisive manner, he has corrected an ill-conceived plan that aimed to exploit the 40th Remembrance of his father for personal gain, thereby jeopardizing the legacy of the institution his late father worked so hard to build through the grace of Jesus Christ.
On 23rd April 2025, the Church Spokesman released a Committee list comprising 104 members, with the Pastor’s signature of approval. This Committee was tasked with organizing activities to commemorate a Remembrance Service for the Pastor Founder, a man who was instrumental in spreading messages of deliverance, breakthrough, healing, and success to humanity. However, the composition of individuals on the list raised concerns and questions regarding their suitability for the task at hand.
The Shepherd of CCC Great Oshoffa Parish Chicago, USA, who is also one of the children of the Pastor Founder, expressed his dissatisfaction and discomfort with the legitimacy and originality of the list. In a WhatsApp voice note which was secured by Celestial Prerogative News, that went viral on different social media platforms consist the voice of AVSE Benjamin Oshoffa where he cautioned church members on the 104 members list, he challenged the list and advised against contributing or donating to the Committee. He disagreed with the exclusion of the Pastor Founder’s children from the planning of their father’s remembrance, stating that the family had already begun internal preparations for the event.
Further investigation uncovered that the list of 104 members was composed by an individual without the consent of other family members, leading to condemnation from the majority of the Oshoffa family. Both the Pastor Founder’s children and Celestial members expressed dissatisfaction and concern over the approval of the list. While it was also revealed that one of the eldest sons, AMSE Ebenezer Oshoffa had contacted M/C Jezebel Dagboru in USA to distance herself from any issues involving the Oshoffa family, emphasizing that the family is separate from the church. This move was prompted by discomfort felt by the Pastor Founder’s children due to her involvement.
The discord among AVSE Benjamin Oshoffa and his siblings has resulted in a revision of the list, reducing it from 104 to 50 individuals. The updated list, which was unveiled on 12th May 2025 excluded 54 people. However, it includes 11 children of the Pastor Founder who will be responsible for coordinating a Remembrance Activities for an individual who devoted 13,984 days out of the 27,728 days he lived on earth to spreading the profound message of God through the creation of the Celestial Church of Christ.
