Is it possible for a candidate to write the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination (JAMB) and then complete the form afterwards?
The management system of our Church is currently facing challenges, with those in leadership positions demonstrating lack of commitment, transparency, accountability, and honesty in a Church that has been established for 78 years. The consistent errors and absence of a proper administrative structure highlight the shortcomings of the Pastor’s Office in adhering to the divine guidance for the Church.
Despite the disorganized anointment exercise that took place at the World Headquarters, Imeko between March & April 2025, resulting in chaos, violations of doctrinal practices, and delays in the approval for anointment, as members expressed their discontent with the Church leadership. The exercise shows the perception that the focus is more on financial gain rather than initiating a comprehensive reconciliation and restructuring of the Church.
In a dramatic development, the Church authority issued a Press Statement on 16th April 2025, announcing that individuals recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Most Superior Evangelist must submit their documents to A/V/S/E Gouan Barthelemy for authentication. This action aims to address concerns regarding the lack of professionalism in the conferral of ranks to clergy members without proper verification and approval prior to their anointment.
Reports have surfaced suggesting that during the recent anointment exercise, it was rumours that over 25 clergies were granted the rank of A/M/S/E, with many of them failing to meet the necessary requirements. Allegedly, “Absalom” who is in control of the Church administration exerted influence to push through the majority of these appointments against the Pastor’s wishes. While only 3 clergy were initially approved for the A/M/S/E rank, the number inexplicably ballooned to over 25.
This situation echoes a similar issue during the 2014/2015 anointment exercise, where the ranks of A/V/S/E and V/S/E were compromised, leading to numerous clergy members donning the sacred garment without proper authorization from the Pastor’s Office. Presently, there are concerns that qualified clergy members are being bypassed for the A/M/S/E rank in favour of junior clergy with greater financial resources, some of whom have even threatened to proceed with sewing the garment of A/M/S/E without the Pastor’s consent.
The Press Statement serves as a stark reminder that the Pastor’s Office lacked control over the recent anointment exercise, resulting in members receiving anointment without the necessary documentation outlining the rank assignment process.
