Celestial Church of Christ Indiana Cathedral, Avon, Indiana, USA is set to commemorate 39 years of God’s faithfulness as the parish hosts its 39th Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Celebration from Wednesday, 29th July to Sunday, 2nd August, 2026. The highly anticipated annual event will be held under the theme “The Most High (El Elyon),” with its scriptural foundation taken from Psalm 83:18.
Harvest Thanksgiving remains one of the most significant annual celebrations in Celestial Church of Christ, providing an opportunity for members to return with hearts full of gratitude for God’s protection, provision, and countless blessings throughout the year. This year’s celebration at Indiana Cathedral is expected to bring together worshippers, ministers, and visitors from different parts of the United States for five days of spiritual renewal, thanksgiving, and Christian fellowship.
According to the programme of events, the celebration will begin with a Mercy Day Service and Revival, followed by an online parenting seminar designed to strengthen Christian homes. The programme will also feature Operation P.U.S.H. (Pray Until Something Happens), community outreach, spiritual consultation, a harvest party, and family thanksgiving before culminating in the grand Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 2nd August.
The Shepherd-in-Charge, Venerable Superior Evangelist Sam O. Tonade, will lead the host congregation throughout the celebration, Speaking ahead of the celebration, he said “For thirty-nine years, God has remained faithful to this parish, and this harvest is our opportunity to return all glory to Him. Our theme, ‘The Most High (El Elyon),’ reminds us that there is no one greater than God, who has sustained His Church through every season. We warmly invite all worshippers, friends, and well-wishers to join us as we celebrate His goodness, seek His face in prayers, and experience His divine presence throughout the programme. We believe every attendee will return home with abundant testimonies.” He explained.
