13 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS: CCC CITADEL OF CELESTIANS CATHEDRAL SALFORD, UK UNVEILS A HARVEST OF WORSHIP, CHARITY AND KINGDOM AUTHORITY
Celestial Church of Christ Citadel of Celestians Cathedral, Salford Parish UK (Special District) is set to hold its 13th Annual Harvest Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 6th September 2026, as members of the parish invite the general public for a week of thanksgiving, worship, evangelism, charity and spiritual activities.
The grand Harvest Thanksgiving Service, scheduled to commence at 10:00 a.m., will bring together church members, invited guests, worshippers and friends of the parish for a special celebration of God’s faithfulness and provision. The annual programme represents another significant milestone in the spiritual journey of CCC Citadel of Celestians Cathedral, Salford, UK and provides an opportunity for the congregation to collectively return thanks to God.
Located at 70 Memorial Road, Walkden, Salford, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom, M28 3AG, the parish has lined up an extensive Harvest Week Programme designed to extend beyond the main thanksgiving service. The activities combine traditional Celestial worship with community engagement, youth activities, spiritual counselling, evangelism and fellowship.
A WEEK OF SPIRITUAL PREPARATION
On Tuesday, 1st September 2026 the Celestial Women Council and Citadel Virtuous Women Programme will take place between 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., followed by a Sidemen/Women Vigil, themed “Sacred & Conduct in CCC,” from 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The programme continues on Wednesday, 2nd September 2026 with a Seekers Service at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mercy Day Service at 6:00 p.m. Later that evening, the cathedral will host its 9th Edition Newmoon Service 2026 at 10:00 p.m., adding another significant spiritual dimension to the Harvest Week observance.
PROPHETIC MINISTRATION, POWER DAY AND KINGDOM AUTHORITY
On Friday, 4th September 2026 worshippers will be treated to a Prophet/Prophetess Service and Spiritual Counselling, scheduled for 12:00 noon to 3:00 p.m. The session is expected to provide an opportunity for spiritual guidance, counselling and prophetic ministry.
This will be followed by the Power Day Service at 6:00 p.m., before the church proceeds into His Kingdom Crusade, which carries the theme “Kingdom Authority.” The crusade is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The choice of Kingdom Authority as the theme of the crusade places emphasis on the sovereignty of God and the spiritual authority available to believers through Christ, making the programme a major part of the spiritual preparation for the harvest.
COMMUNITY, FELLOWSHIP AND THE GRAND HARVEST
On Saturday, 5th September 2026 activities will shift towards fellowship, recreation and hospitality, with Cleaning, Citadel Games & Sports Cup, Barbecue and Welcoming of Guests scheduled from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The activities are expected to provide an opportunity for members, families and visitors to interact in an atmosphere of Christian fellowship ahead of the main thanksgiving service.
The week-long programme will reach its climax on Sunday, 6th September 2026, with the 13th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving Service, commencing at 10:00 a.m. A Bazaar Sale will follow the service, bringing the extensive Harvest Week programme to a formal close.
