One individual within our church has exemplified this strong bond by utilizing his resources to build, support and contribute to God’s work whenever opportunities arise.
With a reputation comparable to that of biblical figures such as Abraham, Jacob, Joseph, Zacchaeus and Barnabas, Superior Evangelist Pius Ige Olarewaju has proven himself to be a man of integrity and intelligence his recent success in implementing an Education free program at CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parish 4 in Akure providing chance of less privileged children with access to quality education from primary school to university level is a testament to his commitment to serving others. Superior Pius has announced another monumental project. This time, he is embarking on a building project for Aunty Yinka in Lagos.
On 22nd September 2024, the Parish Shepherd of CCC Omo Alade Alafia Parish 1, Lagos State brought global attention to a new and ambitious project. He announced that the Life Grand Patron of the Parish had initiated a multi-million naira construction project directly across from the parish location. This project involves the construction of two-story buildings to revamp the Sunday department of the Parish, complete with modern facilities to accommodate various units for administrative and maintenance purposes. This development marks a significant investment in the infrastructure of the Parish, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing the overall experience for parishioners and visitors alike.
As the Parish in Lagos embarks on their journey towards the Golden Jubilee milestone, the achievability of this endeavour has been set in motion by the proactive efforts of Superior Evangelist Pius Olarewaju. The primary objective of this initiative is to honour the memory of Mother Celestial Yinka Olarewaju, formerly known as Aunty Yinka, who departed from us on Sunday, 5th March 2023.
The void left by Aunty Yinka’s passing is still keenly felt, not only within the Church but also among her colleagues in the business world and her family members. For over a year now, her absence has served as a poignant reminder of the values she embodied through her actions and words. It is our firm belief that the building planned to be named in her honour will serve as a lasting tribute to her unwavering spirit and legacy, forever etched in our hearts.
