M/S/E NUNAYON; SIR ONSET THE RECONCILIATION.
The spread of history remains a key factor to knowledge, while proper documentation of activities will assist every individual to act accordingly. The biography of M/S/E J. D Nunayon titled “JD NUNAYON A LEGEND” highlighted significant aspects of his life and journey in Celestial Church of Christ. The journey embarked by Baba Nunayon on the 12th of June 1957 in a village called kpadaome in the Republic of Benin as skyrocketed to a global phenomenon. After 66 years and still counting as an active member of the Church; the number (3) citizen in Celestial Church as given all his strength toward the evolution of the Church. Unarguably M/S/E Nunayon is a factor in Celestial Church of Christ.
In page 68 of the book, “M/S/E Nunayon was summoned to a meeting at his parish of worship, CCC Yemetu Parish, Ibadan. The meeting was presided over by the Pastor Founder Papa SBJ Oshoffa while the meeting lasted for 9 hours. During the meeting, one of the elders in the parish accused M/S/E Nunayon of giving bad prophecies about him”. Angrily Papa SBJ Oshoffa condemned the spiritual revelation of MSE Nayoaun in front of the Parish elders. After the meeting, the Pastor Founder stayed in Ibadan for about (2) weeks at Obembe Avenue Mokola, tactically M/S/E Nunayon avoided seeing Papa SBJ Oshoffa in a way to express his dissatisfaction over what happened during the meeting. After some days, the Pastor sent (3) people to look for M/S/E Nayoaun and bring him over. Eventually, M/S/E Nunayon met with the Papa SBJ Oshoffa; M/S/E Nunayon wept before Papa explaining to him what the Holy Spirit showed him concerning the elder, after M/S/E Nunayon had wept for over an hour. Papa SBJ Oshoffa said “Now are you done? You are behaving like a child. What I did during the meeting was to rescue you from the lions. They will just waste your life. Didn’t I already know that the person you had the vision about was bad, are you the one to tell me? I already knew. I saw this, but I just didn’t say it. Just wait and you will see the type of death he will die”.
The rescue mission of 1965 by Papa SBJ Oshoffa of M/S/E Nunayon has a purpose in Celestial Church of Christ. It is a clear fact that the administration of the Church is unbalanced, with various court injunctions on the Church; while M/S/E Nunayon was conservatively absent from the Church Convocation at Imeko in the last (2) years. The Church members are conscious of the happenings in the Church. MSE Nunayon must have reviewed his prophetic journey when the Pastor Founder personally instructed him to sew a Prophet garment during his visit to the Pastor in accompany of Late Rev Maforikan.
The commitment by M/S/E Nunayon must be injected for a positive reaction to facilitate a reconciliatory move without examining what might have happened before now. M/S/E Nunayon must stop the litigation of various court orders. The task of 1965 should continue to manifest for the purpose of togetherness and development within the circle of Celestial Church. M/S/E Nunayon remains a link bridge toward having a uniform voice in the Church, the moment M/S/E Nunayon keeps remembering what has happened concerning the challenge to correct some shortcoming; the more we would continue to have a collapsed system.
After endless work for 66 years & still counting, M/S/E Nunayon should not allow opportunist to hijack the structure of the Church by taking advantage of the open door to benefit themselves. M/S/E Nunayon has witnessed all that concern the Church, while he has the mandate to drive a framework of reconciliation of all parties back on track. It is an established fact that M/S/E Nunayon is a factor in Celestial Church of Christ. Papa SBJ Oshoffa has rescued M/S/E Nunayon to assist the Church from kidnappers of failed system.
M/S/E Nunayon must always put into consideration what Papa SBJ Oshoffa told him in presence of Professor Oyenuga on the 28th of December 1984 at Imeko as stated in page 71 of the book, “If I die in Benin Republic, do you know where I will be buried?”. M/S/E Nunayon replied “Yes, in the land in front of the house”. Then Papa SBJ Oshoffa continued. But if I die in Nigeria, I should be buried in Imkeo.”. Immediately M/S/E Nunayon heard what the Pastor Founder said, he bowed his head and started crying. Furthermore, Papa SBJ Oshoffa explained to M/S/E Nunayon that “Celestial Church is indivisible. Anyone who tries to divide/spilt this church, his household will be divided, all his possession will be divided and he will be visited with death”. Papa SBJ Oshoffa patiently said “Nunayon, did you hear what I told you? Take it to heart, for you will counsel and teach people with it after I have left”.
M/S/E Nunayon should build on the statement of fact that he would be counselling and teaching the philosophy of God and sustaining Papa SBJ Oshoffa’s words in respect of the challenges, insults, abuses and condemnations on the assignment given to him on the 28th of December 1984.
While in Page 59 of the book, M/S/E Nunayon reechoed the prophecy given to him by Late Baba Maforikan on January 21, 1974 that “You will be given a spiritual assignment, a parish would be founded through you, great miracles would be done by you, and the gospel of God will be richly propagated through your efforts. Yet, people will persecute you and will accuse you of witchcraft and all sorts of demonic activities. Do not fret for this is God’s purpose for you, you will know these things are true when either you or your first son gives birth to a set of twins”.
M/S/E Nunayon must not allow persecutors to change his love for the Oshoffa family regardless of any behavioral attitude toward him nor allow any persecution divert his attention of leaving a better church administration for Celestial Church of Christ. M/S/E Nunayon must push the movement of reconciliation to the doorsteps of every member without concern for condemnation he had received or he will still receive.
