AGIAN! METRO PARISH TUSSLE.
Once again, there was a dispute that happened at the Metropolitan Parish of Celestial Church of Christ in Washington DC, USA. This time, it has escalated to physical abuse during their Sunday service. It is important to note that this Parish does not represent the general faith of Celestial Church in the USA, nor does her members align with the basic ordinance of the Church.
The Parish which used to be a respected parish among other parishes in the USA, has lost its value due to this situation. This has caused embarrassment for a Parish of over 40 years. The fight between the Olorunnisola faction and the Balogun faction is the only reason for this conflict. CCC Metropolitan Parish, which used to be a place of friendship, love, and togetherness, has lost its unity. The few members who still worship there are also involved in physical fights during every service.
The Church authority’s attempts to restore peace have been unsuccessful because the Elders have chosen to remain neutral instead of addressing the negative impact of this division. CCC Metropolitan Parish currently operates as a SPECIAL DIOCESE, which means that the Parish automatically report to the Office of the Pastor. However, the internal conflicts have prevented peace from returning to the parish.
The current leadership of the Olorunnisola/Balogun factions will continue to weaken the CCC Metropolitan Parish. Investigations have revealed that the Elders in the Parish have pledged their allegiance to the Olorunnisola faction, who is a well-known leader in the USA, while the Youth have pledged their allegiance to the Balogun faction. This fight has completely divided the love within the CCC Metropolitan Parish. It is a fact that the Parish is now divided in terms of worship, with each group harboring negative feelings towards the other and engaging in physical confrontations during services.
