GOVERNOR ADELEKE: A REVERENT FOLLOWER OF CELESTIAL LAWS.
The doctrinal practices within Celestial Church of Christ were not originally established by Pastor SBJ Oshoffa; rather, he faithfully adhered to the instructions given to him through divine revelation from the Holy Spirit. These instructions have led to great achievements for members who follow them.
The 10th Annual Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of CCC Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo, led by A/V/S/E Olumide Gangbe, has come and gone, but its success will always be remembered in the Church’s history. This parish has become significant among other parishes in the Celestial Church of Christ due to the impactful contributions of its shepherd and members.
To celebrate the Rehoboth harvest with the members of CCC Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo, the Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Jackson Adeleke, attended the Harvest Thanksgiving with his entire family. The Governor’s appearance clearly showed his deep gratitude to God of Celestial. He respectfully followed the Church’s practices by removing his shoes before entering the Parish premises.
To further demonstrate his respect for the Church, the Governor took the microphone and instructed his followers to also remove their shoes. This action prompted Most Superior Evangelist Deji Nayoaun to pray wholeheartedly for the Governor. Since the return of democratic rule in 1999, no sitting Governor has ever attended a Harvest Thanksgiving Service in any Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria.
The remarkable CCC Wonderland Model Parish in Osogbo has spread the positive message of the Gospel to everyone, including those in positions of government authority.
