Celestial Church of Christ Goshenland Cathedral, Akobo, Ibadan, Oyo State is set to host its highly anticipated Word & Worship Conference 2026, a three-day interdenominational gathering designed to deepen believers’ relationship with God through sound biblical teaching, passionate worship, and the manifestation of God’s power.
Scheduled to hold from Friday, 21st August to Sunday, 23rd August 2026, at the church auditorium located at Plot 7, Block 20, Kolapo Ishola GRA, Akobo, Ibadan, the conference carries the inspiring theme “Mountain Moving Faith”, anchored on Matthew 17:20. The event promises to bring together worshippers from different Christian denominations under an atmosphere dedicated to the undiluted preaching of God’s Word and heartfelt worship.
According to the organisers, the mission of the conference is to create an interdenominational platform where believers can encounter God through biblical teachings and spirit-filled worship. It is expected to strengthen faith, awaken sleeping spiritual giants, rekindle passion for God, and inspire participants to live victorious Christian lives, accompanied by signs and wonders.
The conference will feature an impressive lineup of seasoned ministers of the Gospel and anointed worship leaders. Among the guest speakers is Prophet Cherub Obadare of The Spirit Life Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Bashorun, Ibadan, renowned for his impactful teaching ministry. Also ministering is Pastor Benjamin Akanni of Atmosphere of Life Christian Centre, Ibadan, whose ministry has continued to inspire believers through practical biblical teachings.
The worship sessions will be led by highly gifted ministers, including Oluwaseun SNT, a worship minister from CCC Goshenland Cathedral, and Adegoke Adedamola of CCC Zion Parish, Lekki, Lagos whose music ministry has blessed countless lives. Also ministering will be Senior Evangelist Ibukun Akinpade, Word Minister from CCC Goshenland Cathedral, Ibadan.
Hosting the conference is Venerable Superior Evangelist (Engr.) Emmanuel Akinpade, JP, FNSE, the Shepherd-in-Charge of CCC Goshenland Cathedral, Ibadan whose vision for the annual conference is to raise believers with unwavering faith capable of overcoming life’s challenges through the power of God’s Word.
The programme will commence on Friday, 21st August with an evening session beginning at 4:00 p.m. Activities continue on Saturday, 22nd August with a morning session at 9:00 a.m. and an evening session at 4:00 p.m., before concluding on Sunday, 23rd August with a special worship and impartation service starting at 10:00 a.m.
Speaking on the significance of the conference, the organisers noted that the event is more than a gathering; it is a divine appointment for spiritual renewal, revival, and transformation. Through intensive Bible teaching and an atmosphere of sincere worship, participants are expected to experience fresh encounters with God, renewed faith, healing, deliverance, and divine breakthroughs.
