The Taskforce Committee of our church has issued a strong warning against the activities of self-acclaimed online prophets and the increasing abuse of the Church’s doctrine concerning Juvenile Harvest celebrations.
According to a circular released by the committee, members, shepherds, evangelists, and church workers were reminded that Celestial Church of Christ remains a spiritually guided institution governed by divine revelations, established doctrines, and constitutional provisions. The committee expressed concern over the growing trend of individuals using social media platforms to propagate personal revelations, unauthorized prophecies, and teachings capable of misleading members of the Church.
The Taskforce emphasized that no individual has the authority to alter, reinterpret, or introduce doctrines that contradict the established teachings and practices handed down within Celestial Church of Christ. Members were therefore advised to be cautious and avoid being influenced by unverified online messages presented in the name of divine revelation.
Particular attention was drawn to the recent controversies surrounding Juvenile Harvest celebrations. The committee noted that certain individuals have continued to spread misleading information and personal opinions regarding the doctrine and organization of Juvenile Harvest, creating unnecessary confusion among members.
The Taskforce reiterated that Juvenile Harvest remains an approved spiritual and evangelical programme within the Church, aimed at nurturing children in the fear of God, encouraging their participation in church activities, and promoting Christian values among younger generations. Consequently, any attempt to distort its purpose, create unauthorized doctrines, or use the celebration for personal propaganda was strongly condemned.
The committee further warned that disciplinary measures may be taken against any member found engaging in activities capable of bringing the Church into disrepute, spreading false teachings, or causing division among members through social media and other communication channels.
Members worldwide were encouraged to seek clarification on doctrinal matters through recognized Church authorities and official channels rather than relying on unverified online sources.
The statement concluded with a call for unity, obedience, and commitment to the teachings of God, urging all faithful members to work together for the peace, growth, and spiritual development of the Celestial Church of Christ worldwide.
