The memories and enduring legacy of Mother Celestial Adenike Adewumni Oshoffa continue to remain significant within the fold of our church ten years after her demise.
Mother Celestial Adenike Adewumni Oshoffa, one of the wives of the late Founder of our church, Rev. Prophet Samuel Bilehou Joseph Oshoffa, passed away on the 2nd of June, 2016 leaving behind a legacy of spirituality, hard work, humility, and dedication to humanity.
During her lifetime, she was widely known as a successful banker, entrepreneur, and a devoted member whose life inspired many people both within and outside the church. Her calm disposition, wisdom, and commitment to the work of God earned her admiration among Celestians across different generations.
As a devoted mother and spiritual figure, she played remarkable roles in supporting the vision and growth of the church while also impacting lives through encouragement, counseling, and acts of kindness. Many people who encountered her continue to testify to her exemplary character and motherly influence.
Her son, VSE Benjamin Oshoffa, continues to sustain the Oshoffa spiritual heritage through his shepherdship at CCC SBJ Oshoffa Cathedral Chicago, Illinois USA where he remains committed to the service of God and humanity.
A decade after her transition, Mother Celestial Adenike Adewumni Oshoffa is still remembered for her contributions to family life, entrepreneurship, spirituality, and the development of Celestial Church of Christ. Her impact continues to shine through the lives she touched and the legacy she left behind.
Though, she may no longer be physically present, her memory remains alive in the hearts of many faithful members around the world. May her soul continue to rest peacefully in the bosom of the Lord.
