The tragic murder of Evangelist Fadehan has sparked widespread condemnation, not only within Celestial Church but also among the general public who sympathize with the family of the deceased, all the daily newspapers in Nigeria had reported the story base on what their correspondent saw online, but the constituted authority of the Church who should’ve given a well detailed description of story as kept muted.
The incident has captured the attention of Celestial Church worldwide, who are calling for justice for the shepherd who was brutally attacked and killed by his Assistant Shepherd, Evang Lekan Ogundipe. The Osun State Police Force has initiated a thorough investigation into the controversial case, leading to the complete lockdown of the parish for further inquiries. The alleged suspect has been transferred to the Crime Department of the State Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Command.
It has been confirmed that Most Senior Evangelist Gbaju Fadehan was a dedicated individual who adhered strictly to the doctrinal practices of the Church. His monthly returns were consistent during his tenure as Shepherd of CCC Grace Comfort Parish in Ile Ife. Following the tragic events, the Taskforce Chairman conducted an initial assessment of the scene and visited the family of the deceased on the same day.
However, the Church authority responsible for receiving monthly returns from Most Senior Evangelist Gbaju Fadehan remained completely silent on the situation on the murder of a staff who worked for God and served the Church on 26th of February 2024, in Ile Ife. The Spokesman of the Church, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala had released five posts on the official blog of the Church between Monday 26th of February 2024, but turned a blind eye to the incident involving a staff member who worked on behalf of the Pastor at CCC Grace Comfort Parish in Ile Ife.

Has the staff in the Pastor’s Office inform the Pastor about the situation in Ile Ife?
Does the Pastor’s Office chosen not to be concerned about the situation?
The circumstances surrounding the murder of Evangelist Fadehan have deeply shaken Celestial Church and the general public at large. The pursuit of justice in this case is of utmost importance to ensure that such a heinous act does not go unpunished, as we demand an urgent explanation from the Pastor Office to general congregation of the Church, while a private investigation should uncover the truth about the situation and the State Evangelist of Osun State V/S/E Adjovi should work closely with the Osun State Police Command for speedy findings and prosecution of the alleged suspect.
