On the 9th of February 2023, an assignment was given to Most Superior Evangelist Olarinde to develop a framework for restructuring the Church administration regarding Shepherd/routine arrangements. This initiative has now culminated in the release of a new organizational structure from the Pastor’s office.
The dissolution of the State Evangelists has elicited mixed reactions. While some members applaud the Pastor’s decision to decentralize each state into regional entities, allowing Regional Heads easier access to the Pastor for assessment and administrative decisions, others have criticized the move. They fear that the new structure will increase the Pastor’s workload, as he will now be required to engage in numerous meetings with Regional Heads seeking to report on their respective activities.
Several Elders who shared their perspectives with Celestial Prerogative News believe that the Pastor should assign each Pastor Representative to oversee the performance of the newly appointed regional Head. It was also noted that the Restructuring Committee, led by M/S/E Olarinde only submitted their report to the Pastor without providing any further explanation or decision before the Pastor Office went further to release the planned proposal.
In order to ensure a thorough review of all activities, we strongly recommend that the Pastor’s Office request a white paper to reassess and reset the restructuring of the shepherds within the Church in putting various observations into consideration.
