In December 2021, the general congregation of CCC Worldwide witnessed a disruption of service at the National Headquarters of the Church in the USA. Then as we entered the year 2022, a season of conflict and physical confrontation arose at the Parish as members strayed from the true values of the Church. Police officers became a regular visitor to the Parish, while worshippers went to court to settle their differences.
After careful analysis and guidance from the Holy Spirit, Pastor Rev. EMF Oshoffa acted in the best interest of God and the worshippers of the Parish by appointing a shepherd who was experienced, filled with the Holy Spirit and possessed a progressive instinct.
The newly appointed Shepherd, V/S/E Tunde Odubanjo, who previously served as the Head of the Italy Diocese assumed his duties on 29th November 2024 as the substantive shepherd of CCC Metro Parish, USA. His mandate was to restore peace, love, and unity among the Parish, while also intensifying the true essence of evangelization and promoting the integrity of the church.
Undoubtedly, the exceptional human management skills of the shepherd have played out in his favour, as he has created an atmosphere where members relate with compassion rather than focusing on negative stereotypes attitude to each other.
The shepherd’s innate intelligence has helped him guide the members towards a true understanding of unity in God’s assignment, casting aside the mindset of enemies and embracing the love that Celestial Church of Christ represents. For three consecutive weeks, the Parish has witnessed a beautiful family gathering where long-lost members are reuniting and working together for the growth of the Parish.
Each unit in the Parish has come together, setting aside their differences in the spirit of togetherness and love. The shepherd’s influence has sparked a renewed faith in the Parish, with members who had previously left due to internal conflicts now returning.
The Parish members are overflowing with gratitude towards the shepherd for leading them towards a true identity of worship. They commend the Pastor for choosing a shepherd who has shown exceptional human management skills, native intelligent, and conflict resolution abilities, effectively erasing years of bitterness among them. The Parish is thriving with excitement and unity, all thanks to the guidance of their wise shepherd and the Pastor who as taken up the responsibilities to give them a problem solver.
